✓ Weekdays, we’ll have spoken to you properly within two hours.
✓ Evenings and weekends, the same number is answered by a manager.

Rated Outstanding by the CQC
Inspected December 2025. The only provider in Medway to hold the CQC’s top rating, and the same team now covers North and West Kent.
Where we cover
We’re based at the Historic Dockyard in Chatham and our carers work right across Medway and into North and West Kent. Not sure whether we reach you? Put your postcode in the form below, or just ring us and we’ll tell you straight away. There’s a full list of towns and villages on our areas we cover page.
You’ll speak to a person, not a call centre
When you ring us, the phone is answered in our office at the Historic Dockyard in Chatham. Not a switchboard, not a national enquiry line, not someone reading from a script in another county. Someone who knows the carers, knows Medway and Kent, and can actually answer your questions.
Call during the week between 9am and 5.30pm and we’ll aim to have talked things through with you properly within two hours. Usually it’s a lot sooner than that.
And it’s the same number in the evening, at the weekend, and on a bank holiday. If things have gone wrong at seven o’clock on a Friday, which is very often when they do, one of our managers picks up. Not a voicemail, not an answering service, and you don’t need to be an existing client to ring it.
One number to remember. That’s the whole point.
How to arrange care at home, step by step
We talk, usually the same day
A short phone call, ten or fifteen minutes. You tell us what’s happening and we ask a few questions. If home care isn’t the right answer we’ll say so and point you somewhere better.
We visit, free of charge
One of our care managers comes out at a time that suits you, including evenings and weekends. We’ll meet the person needing care and talk through what would actually help. No charge, no obligation.
You decide, in your own time
A written plan and a clear price, with no hidden extras. Take as long as you need. And if you want to start, we can usually have carers with you within 24 hours of you saying yes.
Nothing on this page commits you to anything. Plenty of people call us, have a good chat, and go away and think about it for a month. That’s completely fine.
Who you’ll be talking to
Ring us during the week and it’ll almost certainly be one of these two.

MadisonOffice Administrator
“Most days it’s me who picks up. I’d rather have a proper conversation and understand what’s actually going on than take your details and pass you along to someone else.”

PiaCare Coordinator
“People often ring not really knowing what they need, and that’s completely normal. Tell me what’s been happening and we’ll work out the rest together.”
What home care actually costs
We’d rather tell you now than make you sit through a visit to find out.
What’s included
- The carer’s time and their travel
- Training, DBS checks and supervision
- The family app, so you can see every visit
What’s not included
- Nothing hidden
- No joining, assessment or admin fee
- No charge to change your visit times
You may not have to pay all of this yourself
Depending on your situation there may be support available. If you’re in Medway that’s Medway Council; in Maidstone, Gravesham, Malling or Sevenoaks it’s Kent County Council. There’s also NHS Continuing Healthcare, Attendance Allowance or PIP, and direct payments. Most people don’t realise what they’re entitled to. We’ll walk you through it and help with the forms if you want, whether or not you end up using us.
Or leave your details and we’ll call you
Three quick boxes, thirty seconds. We’ll call back within two hours during office hours, or first thing the next working day.
We’ll only use what you tell us here to get back to you about care. We won’t add you to a mailing list and we won’t pass it to anyone else. If you’re telling us about someone else’s health or care needs, we look after that the same way we look after our clients’ records. How we handle your information.

You’re contacting Medway’s only CQC Outstanding rated home care provider.

- No obligation, and only one week’s notice if you ever want to stop
- We’ll tell you if we’re not the right fit
- Rated 10 out of 10 by families on homecare.co.uk

What sort of care are you looking for?
Not sure which one you need? That’s normal, and it’s what the free assessment is for. Just call.
The questions people usually ask first
Do you cover my area?
We cover the whole of Medway, plus Maidstone and Malling, Gravesend, and the Sevenoaks district. Live-in care is available anywhere in Kent. There’s a full list of towns and villages on our areas we cover page. If you’re not sure whether we reach your village, ring us and we’ll tell you straight away rather than making you guess.
Will Mum get the same carer each time?
Wherever we possibly can, yes. We build small consistent teams around each person rather than sending whoever’s free, and we introduce anyone new before their first visit. If your regular carer is off sick or on holiday, you’ll get someone from the same small team who already knows the care plan.
What’s the shortest visit you do?
Thirty minutes across Medway, Maidstone and Malling, and Gravesend. In the Sevenoaks district it’s an hour, because of the journey time, and we’d rather set that expectation than run late every morning. We’ll also be honest with you if we think half an hour isn’t enough to do what you need properly and without rushing, because a rushed visit doesn’t really help anybody.
Do we have to sign a contract?
There’s a service agreement so everyone knows where they stand, but there’s no minimum term and no long tie-in. If you ever want to stop, it’s one week’s notice. That’s shorter than most providers, and it’s deliberate. We’d rather earn the next week than lock you into a month of it.
How quickly can care start?
Usually within 24 hours of the assessment, and we do our best with hospital discharges at short notice. Ring us and ask, even if it feels like no notice at all.
Are you regulated?
Yes. We’re registered with the Care Quality Commission, and at our most recent inspection in December 2025 we were rated Outstanding, which is their highest rating. We’re the only home care provider in Medway with it, and we were rated Outstanding for how effective our care is and for how caring our staff are. You can read the full report on the CQC website.
One phone call is all it takes to start
You don’t need to have made a decision. You don’t need to know what kind of care you’re after. You don’t even need the person you’re calling about to have agreed to it yet. Plenty of people ring us just to understand what’s possible.
